We pay a premium for fabrics sourced in the U.S. and knit locally in California, chosen for their softness, durability, and performance. This close-to-home process allows us to test, refine, and perfect each design without delays or compromises.
Fit is everything — and it’s never one-size-fits-all. Every style is tested across multiple body types, reworked and refined down to the smallest detail, sometimes adjusting a seam or shaving a quarter inch until it feels just right. This level of precision is only possible when designers and makers work side by side — because your fit deserves it.

KYA Swim was founded in 2012 by Kylie Genesoto, driven by a desire to create swimwear that women truly feel confident wearing.
From the very beginning, Kylie was deeply involved in every part of the process — from fabric selection and construction to fit testing and wear testing on real bodies. She learned the hard parts, stayed close to the details, and refused to release anything that didn’t feel right.
That hands-on, quality-first approach continues to guide KYA today.
